Born on March 7th, 2017!
“You’re welcome” was Simon’s response for waking up my human Mom at 3am. She hurriedly logged on to Simon’s webcam, just in time to see me, the first born, come into the world. There, she stood in her bathroom near Denver, Colorado, sobbing with joy. It was real. “I’m here world,!” I announced. “It’s a boy!,” yelled Simon. “Yep, I know”, my human Mom replied. “He’s mine,” she continued. Simon laughed, his super amazing laugh, and said “As long as the rest are girls.” It was my turn to laugh – I already knew how many and what gender they were – I’ve spent 8 growing weeks in there with my siblings.
“And, congratulations Grandma!” Simon yelled.
As my human Mom stared at the small screen, looking at the grainy image of me, her new boy, it was becoming real. A reality. She was bringing home a puppy in two months! So…unprepared! So…thrilled!!! And I couldn’t wait to meet her and my new family.
